Sundeep Kishan comes on board for Dhanush's ambitious action adventure flick Captain Miller

It was announced a while ago that Arun Matheswaran will direct Captain Miller which has Dhanush playing the titular role in it. Both of them confirmed their collaboration and expressed excitement around the same time when the former's debut movie Rocky was released in theatres.

Later, the filmmaker came up with Saani Kaayidham, which skipped theatrical release and dropped directly on Amazon Prime Video this year. Sathya Jyothi Films revealed that they will be bankrolling Captain Miller which has GV Prakash on board as its music composer. Dhanush's first release of the year, Maaran, too, had GV as the composer.  

Now, the team has informed that Sundeep Kishan has been added to the cast. He's the first actor to come on board for the movie after Dhanush. The production house welcomed the Tamil-Telugu actor with a tweet, and he reciprocated with a post from his social media.

All excited to team up with Dhanush, Sundeep posted, "Pleased to be a Part of the Ambitious #CaptainMiller. Honoured to work alongside a man of Mammoth talent & A constant source of Inspiration @dhanushkraja anna. Thank the Genius @ArunMatheswaran & Dear @SathyaJyothi for bringing this crazy part to me (sic)."

Sundeep is currently busy with pan Indian project Michael in which he is acting along with Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The gangster flick will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Billed as a high-octane project, Captain Miller has Dhanush sporting three looks. The movie's story is set in a time period between 1930 and 1040. Arun had revealed recently that the latter half of the film will have a war sequence which would be one of the highlights of the project.
