Sundeep Kishan was once a bankable star in Telugu cinema, but of late, he hasn’t been very active in films or OTT projects. After a brief gap, he is now back with a brand-new web series titled Super Subbu. The latest update is that the series will soon release on Netflix, which also announced a range of new films and series.

Netflix today unveiled the first look of Sundeep Kishan in Super Subbu. Hindi actress Mithila Parker plays the female lead, while Murali Sharma appears in a key role in this hilarious series. The plot of Super Subbu is quite interesting. A desperate teacher played by Sundeep, trying to escape a tyrannical situation, gets stuck teaching sex education in a remote village.

The twist: the hero himself is a virgin, yet he must teach sex education to students. How this unfolds forms the story across the seven-episode series. Super Subbu is directed by Mallik Ram, who previously created a sensation with Sidhu Jonnalagadda's DJ Tillu, now streaming on OTTplay Premium.

Speaking about the series, Sundeep Kishan said that today’s stories are bold and expressive, and he wanted to be part of Super Subbu as soon as he heard the story. Director Mallik Ram reveals that Super Subbu is a hilarious comedy based on the touchy subject of sex education that Indians consider a taboo.
