Suresh Gopi’s son Madhav all set to make his debut; here’s all about the film

Malayalam star Suresh Gopi’s son, Madhav Suresh, is all set to make his acting debut with the Malayalam upcoming film, Kummatikali. R K Vincent Selva is directing this action drama.

The film's trailer showed Madhav as a youngster named Dennis, who lives in a coastal area and is a member of the Kummati Boys gang. It also demonstrates his struggle against those putting an end to the locals' means of subsistence. Lena is portrayed as a nurturing figure who has raised four boys since their childhood. By the time the two minutes and twenty seconds have passed, we can also see people shaving Lena's character's head.

A glimpse of Kummattikali, also known as mask dance, a traditional dance form of Kerala, is also shown in the video. Mask dance is performed during the Malayalam months of Makaram and Kumbham at the beginning of the year.

Last year, Madhav celebrated his birthday on set with Suresh Gopi and the Kummatikali crew. The star child's performance on screen was highly anticipated after the pictures were posted on social media. In the upcoming days, more updates on this film are anticipated.

Netizens response to Madhav Suresh’s Kummatikali

While some applauded Madhav for his action-packed debut in Malayalam cinema, others pointed out that the trailer offers nothing new and almost gives away the plot. A few others have also drawn comparisons between the movie's plot and that of a television serial.

Cast and crew of Kummatikali

Yami Sona and Devika Satheesh are playing the female leads in Kummatikali. Mithun Prakash, Rashik Ajmal, Dhananjay, Lena, Mime Gopi, Antony Dinesh, Azeez Nedumangad, Major Ravi, Sarish, and Sanjeev Jeevan are among the supporting cast of this action drama.

The screenplay for the film has also been penned by the director himself. Venkiy has handled the camera work, while Don Max is the editor. Riyad V Ismail is the art director. The soundtracks for the film have been composed by Jackson Vijayan and Sumesh Parameshwaran.
