Suriya, Dulquer to team up for Hombale Films under Sudha Kongara's direction, official announcement awaited?

A few months ago, leading production house of Sandalwood, Hombale Films, announced that they will be teaming up with director Sudha Kongara. However, there wasn't any information about the cast and crew of the project despite speculation doing the rounds. 

Movie lovers took to social media to express their excitement as soon as the announcement was made. A few of them wondered if it is another movie with Suriya as the actor-filmmaker duo had earlier confirmed their second collaboration after Soorarai Pottru (streaming on Amazon Prime Video). Some of them guessed that the project might have a leading hero from Kannada. 

The latest news doing the rounds on social media is that Suriya and Dulquer will be playing lead roles in the untitled movie. The director is currently busy with the shooting of the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru starring Akshay Kumar in the lead.

Fans of both the Kollywood star and Mollywood star have pinned high hopes ever since the news started going viral. They are expecting an official announcement on the film, in case they are planning it. Else, they seem to be okay with the makers denying it as baseless news as well. For now, what they are looking forward to is a clarity on the news that is circulating like wildfire.

Hombale Films which rose to fame with the sensational KGF franchise (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) had announced their debut in Mollywood as well a few weeks ago. Titled Tyson, the project which is billed as a pan Indian movie, starring Prithviraj in the lead, will be released in multiple languages. 

Prabhas-starrer Salaar directed by Prashanth Neel is the movie they are currently working on. For now, all eyes are on the speculated Suriya-Dulquer project which is rocking the internet.
