It's been more than two years since a Suriya-starrer has released on the big screen and his fans can't wait to celebrate the occasion of Etharkkum Thunindhavan's release. It was announced recently that the film will release on February 4. KV Anand's Kaappaan (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) was his last theatrical release.
His last two outings, Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim, were direct-to-OTT releases and went on to earn praise from critics and the audience as well. Now, it's time for his fans to enjoy seeing their matinee idol on the big screen.
The makers of the movie has now come with a surprise for the star's fans and other film lovers. Its director Pandiraj has now announced that the project will be released in four more languages, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Along with a new poster, he tweeted the hashtags for the movie in all the five languages.
Rathnavelu has cranked the camera for the movie which has editing by Antony Ruben and music by Imman. Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the female lead in the project which has Saranya Ponvannan, Sathyaraj, Soori, MS Bhaskar and Pugazh among others essaying key roles in it.
Tipped as an action family drama, unlike the director's recent outings, the film is expected to have a solo release in Tamil Nadu. However, the movie will have a box office clash with Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's big budget project Acharya in Telugu.
Sivakarthikeyan's Don, Vishnu Vishal's FIR, Arun Vijay's Yaanai and Nayanthara, Samantha, Vijay Sethupathi's Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal are other Tamil movies that are hitting the screens in February.
