If the buzz on social media is to go by, Suriya42 has been titled Kanguva. Twitter has been berserk with the new title ever since the censor certificate of the title teaser began to do the rounds. The film's title is all set to be launched tomorrow and it is said that it will span 1 minute and 16 seconds. Fans are excited that the team has chosen a title that would appeal in all languages. Suriya42 will be released in ten languages and will be made on a grand scale in 3D. The film is said to be one of the most expensive projects in the career.
In the meantime, we hear that Suriya will be playing a warrior of sorts in the film. The announcement of the film had Suriya as a brave warrior looking at a battlefield. An eagle is seen perched on his arms. The film will mark the debut of Disha Patani in the Tamil industry. Earlier, the team had announced that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa had bagged the audio rights of the film. Music for the film is by Devi Sri Prasad. The digital rights, on the other hand, have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video for a whopping price.
Earlier, producer Dhananjayan had revealed that the film was being made on such a large scale that the flashback periodic portions itself would be shot for around 80 days. The team is planning to shell out a massive budget. The film is bankrolled by KE Gnanavelraja's Studio Green and it is said that the producer is back with a bang.
His recent release Pathu Thala starring Silambarasan and Gautham Karthik, has been raking in the moolah at the box office. Meanwhile, Gnanavel Raja is also helming Chiyaan Vikram's Thangalaan, which is helmed by Pa Ranjith.
