Suriya 42: Makers tease fans with an intriguing poster ahead of the much-awaited first look reveal

After waiting patiently for several months, fans of Suriya were relieved when makers of Suriya 42 (tentative title) announced recently that the first look poster and title of the project will be revealed on April 16. However, some of the movie buffs were disappointed over the team not coming up with a poster or working still then.

It looks like their constant complaints have now reached the concerned people's ears. The social media page of Studio Green, which is bankrolling the movie along with UV Creations, has now left fans surprised with a new poster.

It has a warrior with a mask on his face carrying sharpened weapons on his shoulders riding a horse on a broken wooden bridge. He is also accompanied by a horse and is seen confused on reaching the other end of the bridge. The broken wooden pieces and stones are also spotted in the poster.

Interestingly, thunder and lightning on the picture makes it even more appealing and serves as the right promotion for the much-hyped magnum opus which will be released in 10 languages. Moreover, the poster also mentions that 9.05 am is the time at which the first look and title will be released on April 16.

Needless to say, fans are elated to the core and will have their fingers crossed for the next five days. There are reports that the movie which has Siva at its helm will hit the screens in 2024. If everything goes well, a release date update might also arrive along with the poster.

Suriya's last major release was Etharkkum Thunindhavan which hit the screens a year ago. His cameo role in Vikram which was released a few months later went on to become a sensation.
