Suriya's film with Bala gets an official title; the bilingual movie is Vanangaan in Tamil, Achaludu in Telugu

The news of Suriya and Bala joining hands again after a long time made their mutual fans excited to the core. The project was announced last year and was revealed that the actor's 2D Entertainment will bankroll the movie. The film which was tentatively titled Suriya 41 went on floors a few months ago in Kanyakumari.

Krithi Shetty was roped in as the female lead of the project even before her debut in Kollywood is yet to release. GV Prakash was brought on board to compose music as well. Though makers have been tight-lipped about the story, sources say that Suriya will be seen playing a fisherman in the film.

The team has now revealed its official title; Suriya 41 will henceforth be known as Vanangaan in Tamil, while the Telugu title is Achaludu. The makers also released an official first look poster which has Suriya's face partially visible behind a white torn sack. The actor is seen sporting a rugged beard which is different from the one he recently pulled off in style in Vikram.

Fans of the star are now waiting for other updates from Vanangaan like trailer release and theatrical release date. A few months ago, there were rumours of the project getting dropped owing to differences in opinion among Suriya and Bala.

However, the actor had taken to his Twitter page to post a picture of himself discussing a scene with the director, thus quashing the speculations as baseless rumours.

Suriya has now posted the first look posters of the movie from his Twitter page and has expressed happiness for having teamed up with the acclaimed filmmaker again. He also wished Bala a happy birthday as he is celebrating the special occasion today.
