Filmmaker Suseenthiran, who helmed films like Kuttram Kuttrame, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, and Naan Mahaan Alla, is now working on his directorial titled 2K Lovestory. The makers recently announced that the shooting has been completed in 38 days. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
Director Suseenthiran’s next film is titled 2K Lovestory. The film is produced by City Light Pictures. Going by the title, the film is touted to be a romance drama adhering to the tastes of current generation. The shooting for the film has been completed in 38 days, the makers of the film announced recently.
The film will revolve around a group of youngsters, with Meenakshi Govindarajan playing the female lead. Debutant Jegaveer will be playing the male lead.
The cast of the film also includes some known faces, including Bala Saravanan, Antony Bhagyaraj, Jayaprakash, Vinodhini, Singhamuthu, GP Muthu and many other leading stars have acted along with them. 2K Lovestory was shot in a single schedule in Coimbatore and Chennai.
The technical crew of the upcoming Tamil film includes D Imman composing the music. Vignesh Subramanian is producing the film on behalf of City Light Pictures. Other details on the crew and release date of the film will be officially announced soon.
Suseenthiran began his directorial journey way back in 2009 with the sports drama titled Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, starring Vishnu Vishal, Soori, Saranya, and others. The film is based on the titular kabbadi group. After this, the director went on to make films like Karthi-starrer Naan Mahaan Alla in 2010, and Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai in 2011. The latter won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The director last helmed Kuttram Kuttrame, a 2022 crime thriller film starring Jai, Bharathiraja, Harish Uthaman, Smruthi Venkat and Dhivya Duraisamy among others.
