Actor Gurucharan Singh, who has been missing since April 22 this year, returned home on Friday.

Taarak Mehta Ka Oooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh who is well known for his character Rohan Singh Sodhi was missing since April 22, 2024. The actor has finally returned home after going missing for 26 days. On Friday, 17th May, the actor came back to his Delhi home.
After being questioned by Delhi police once he returned home, Gurucharan revealed that he was on a religious pilgrimage. In the last few days, the actor made visits to Gurudwaras in many cities including Amritsar and Ludhiana. However, later on, he realized that he should return home.
When Gurucharan was supposed to meet his parents in Delhi, he was expected to return to Mumbai, however, when he never reached the airport, Singh's father filed a missing report revealing that the actor had been missing for four days. He stated, “My son Gurucharan Singh, Age: 50 years, had left at 8:30 am on 22nd April to go to Mumbai. He went to the airport to catch a flight. He didn’t reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable. He is mentally stable and we had been searching for him but now he has been missing.”

The Delhi Police had filed a case of kidnapping and an investigation was underway to find him before he arrived home yesterday.
Meanwhile, Gurucharan is known for his bubbly character in the famous show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmash. The actor took a break from the show in 2013 but returned in a year. He then exited in 2020 and since then he has not been seen in any other shows. Speaking about the exit from the show, the actor had earlier said, “During that time, my father had to undergo surgery, which led me to leave the show. There were also other reasons, and I had to focus on him. Life was moving forward, and I didn’t want to dwell on this matter.”
