Tamil remake of Article 15: The upcoming Udhayanidhi Stalin starrer takes the Valimai route for promotions

The first look and the motion poster of the upcoming Tamil remake of Article 15, starring Udhayanadhi Stalin, will be unveiled soon. It will be launched by the producer Boney Kapoor, followed by back-to-back updates of the movie. The team is borrowing a leaf out of Ajith-starrer Valimai’s promotional strategy, a film also produced by Kapoor.

According to a TOI report, the production of Valimai and the Tamil remake of Article 15 is currently progressing at a brisk pace. Arunraja Kamaraj of ‘Kanaa’ fame is helming the Tamil remake, who has already finished filming several portions of the movie. A long schedule of the movie is expected to kickstart soon, and the team is planning to wrap up the Udhayanidhi Stalin starrer speedily.

Article 15 was a critically acclaimed and successful crime drama that starred Ayushmann Khurrana as the main lead. The movie talks about a city-bred IPS officer who is appointed in a rural area and needs to deal with caste-based crime in the area. How he breaks those caste lines and ensures equal rights for everyone (as guaranteed by Article 15) constitutes the rest of the story.

Udhayanidhi Stalin reprises the role of Ayushmann Khurrana and has a proclivity for movies that contain a political and a social message. He earlier worked in the social drama Manithan, which was a Tamil remake of Jolly LLB. Fans are eagerly waiting to see his avatar in the upcoming remake of Article 15.
