The trailer of the upcoming Kartikeya Gummakonda starrer Raja Vikramarka released recently. It saw him in the avatar of an NIA officer. We also saw its female lead Tanya Ravichandran sharing a cute rapport with Kartikeya. In a recent media interaction, we saw the Karuppan star share details about her character in the upcoming action-comedy flick.
She drew comparisons of how her character is so much similar to hers in Raja Vikramarka. We will get to see Tanya Ravichandran portray the role of a Bharatnatyam dancer named Kanthi in the movie. She lauded the way her character was brought about on screen in the movie. She mentioned her stint in the classical art form of 15 years, which was also one of the reasons that drove her to take up the role of Kanthi. She mentioned how her character was also a simple human being despite coming from an elite family. The factor was also relatable to the star.
Having performed in both Tamil and Telugu film industries, Tanya also spoke about how she didn’t find any difference between the both. As an experimenter in taking up roles, no matter if they are commercial or drama, she spoke about giving the nod if she likes the movie and her role in it.
Tanya Ravichandran went on to talk about her co-star of Raja Vikramarka, Kartikeya Gummakonda, by lauding his natural style of acting and his friendliness towards his co-stars. She even recalled her pleasant experience of working with veteran actors like Sai Kumar and Tanikella Bharani in the upcoming Raja Vikramarka.
Raja Vikramarka marks Tanya Ravichandran’s debut in the Telugu film industry. She also has movies like the Udhayanidhi Stalin starrer Nenjuku Needhi and Sibi Sathyaraj starrer Maayon in her kitty.
