With exactly a week ahead of its theatrical release, the makers of Maanaadu are promoting the movie in full swing. Earlier today, the crew members, except Kalyani Priyadarshan, the female lead of the film, attended its pre release event, where each of them narrated the experiences working for the project.

The team has now come up with a video song, titled Voice of Unity, which has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The three-minute video has been penned by Arivu and sung by himself along with Silambarasan. The peppy song which has some catchy lyrics has some intriguing BTS moments, too, from the shooting spot.

The manner in which Venkat Prabhu coordinates during the shoot, Silambarasan's fast-paced movements in fight sequences, Yuvan's composition in studio are a few of the engaging moments from the BTS video. The team had earlier released Meherezylaa, a romantic track, a few months ago.

Billed as a political thriller with time-loop elements, the movie is said to have only one song in the film. SJ Suryah plays the antagonist in it while SA Chandrasekar, Karunakaran, Premgi, Anjana Kirti and Manoj Bharathiraja among others essay important roles.

Maanaadu was initially supposed to be a Deepavali release, but the makers decided to postpone the release by two weeks keeping in mind the advantage of having a solo release. However, two films of Sasikumar are releasing on the next day of Maanaadu's release.

SR Prabhakaran's Kombu Vatcha Singamda and KV Kathirvelu's Rajavamsam, both billed as family dramas, are hitting the screens on the same day. Sasikumar's MGR Magan, directed by Ponram, had a direct-to-OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar on Deepavali.
