Filmmaker-turned-actor Gautham Menon's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is in its last leg of shooting. The movie which has Silambarasan playing the lead has been shot mostly in Chennai and Mumbai. The film's teaser and a few stills were released by the team earlier.

Now, Vels Film International, the production house which is bankrolling the movie, has revealed the character poster of Mollywood actor Neeraj Madhav who plays a crucial character in the project. Though the film marks his Tamil debut, he is known for the notable role he had essayed in the popular series The Family Man (streaming on Amazon Prime Video).

The poster has him seen along with Silambarasan; it looks like he is a hairdresser. Silambarasan is seen looking at his face in the mirror while Neeraj, who plays Sridharan in the film, is observing the former's haircut with a towel in his hand. The young actor currently has three Malayalam films in his kitty.

AR Rahman scores music for Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu which is expected to hit the screens around June-July. This is the third project which brings together Gautham Menon, AR Rahman and Silambarasan after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Acham Enbathu Madamaiyada.

Gautam Menon has Dhruva Natchathiram and Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha awaiting release. While the former is expected to release in theatres after keeping movie buffs waiting for five years, the latter we hear, has chances of going the OTT way.

Silambarasan, on the other hand, has Pathu Thala, Maha and Corona Kumar in his kitty. There have been reports doing the rounds that he is likely to join hands with Sudha Kongara as well. If everything goes well, he will have two theatrical releases this year.
