Team Vikram celebrates 75th day of release, the Kamal Haasan-starrer pulls off the impossible

Vikram, which was released in theatres on June 3, shattered box office records in Tamil Nadu like never before. The Kamal Haasan-starrer which has been bankrolled by himself surprised the trade and movie buffs by its historical run in movie halls across the state. 

The movie, despite having released on Disney+ Hotstar more than a month ago, is still running in a few theatres in Chennai. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is the highest grossing movie in Tamil Nadu, and its sequel which is expected to kick off in 2023, is one of the most-awaited Kollywood projects.    

The makers have now come up with a 75th day poster of the action thriller, something which is unbelievable in today's times. We have been coming across movies in different languages, big ones and small ones, tumbling like a house of cards on day one, and here is a movie which has managed to entertain cinephiles even after its 75th day of release. They also released a three-minute BTS video of the film.

Kamal Haasan had recently revealed that the film had garnered an impressive footfall of more than 1.5 crore only in Tamil Nadu. The movie has managed to break a few box office records in other territories like Kerala, too, where it is currently the numero uno Tamil film.

Fans of Kamal Haasan are excited to the core as their matinee idol has made a humongous comeback after a short hiatus of four years. The Ulaganayagan will next be seen in Shankar's Indian 2 and Mahesh Narayanan's untitled project.

A film each with Vetri Maaran and Pa Ranjith are also on the cards. Movie lovers are curious to know when he will join Lokesh Kanagaraj again for the sequel to Vikram.
