Ahead of the teaser release, Kangana Ranaut has dropped the new poster for her upcoming film, Tejas. In the movie, for which Sarvesh Mewara also wrote the screenplay, the actor plays the part of an Indian Air Force pilot. Kangana posted the poster on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti (October 2).

Powerful depiction in the poster:

In the poster, we see the actor in her Air Force pilot mode, giving an intense look while flying a fighter plane. There's also a glimpse of her in the war sequence, where she is all set for hand-to-hand combat.

While sharing the poster, Kangana wrote, "Jab bhi baat desh ki aayegi, woh saari hadein paar kar jaayegi!" It loosely translates as "When it comes to the country, all boundaries will be crossed!"

Film synopsis:

The film follows Air Force pilot Tejas Gill on an unprecedented journey with the intention of fostering inspiration and pride in the courageous service members who risk their lives to defend our nation every day.

Kangana's childhood dream:

Earlier, while talking about the film, Kangana said in a statement that since she was a kid, she has been interested in the military and has fantasised about being a soldier. The actor has never been shy about sharing how moved she is by the bravery of the Jawans. The actor added that the nation and the people of the country are safe because of them. That's why she is overjoyed to be a part of Tejas, and one of the most exciting things about the project for her is getting to wear a uniform.

Tejas also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Varun Mitra and Anshul Chauhan in supporting roles. The film was earlier scheduled to release on October 20, 2023; now it is set to hit the big screen a week later, on October 27, 2023.
