Telangana Elections 2023 - Nikhil Siddhartha, Anasuya Bharadwaj, RGV congratulate Congress for their win

While Animal is enjoying a fantastic run in theatres across Telugu states, there’s a good political thriller that’s garnering people’s attention in Telangana, as citizens await the results of the assembly elections today. After 9 years, Congress party has earned an electoral majority in Telangana, having won in 64 constituencies (out of 119 seats)

Several Telugu film celebs have congratulated Congress for forming a government in Telangana via social media. Anasuya Bharadwaj wrote, “On an entirely different scenario.. where our lives really matter.. are the results of Telangana Elections 2023.. Congratulations on the win #IndianNationalCongress ! Wishing and hoping you take us upwards and onwards."

Nikhil Siddhartha too wished the Congress and the BJP parties for their performance in Telangana, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh elections. “Congratulations to Revanth Reddy Anna and @INCIndia for the Emphatic Win in Our Telangana state...and also @BJP4India for the Sweeping Victories in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh. Democracy is alive and Well .. JAI HIND @revanth_anumula @narendramodi”

Sharing his image alongside TPCC chief Revanth Reddy, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma wrote,”SUPER DUPER proud to know the present HONOURABLE CHIEF MINISTER of TELANGANA the WARRIOR KING REVANTH REDDY ..Hey @revanth_anumula. Take 10000000000000000000000 BOWS.” He added that the assembly elections triggered his interest in politics again.

On the work front, Nikhil Siddhartha, who was seen in Spy this year. is currently working on the historical drama Swayambhu, while Anasuya Bharadwaj is awaiting the release of Razakar (late 2023 or early 2024) and Pushpa 2. Ram Gopal Varma will be releasing Vyooham, the two-part biopic of Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy shortly.
