Telusu Kada box office Day 2: Siddhu Jonnalagadda's film takes a dull start, makes just Rs 4 crore

Telusu Kada is Siddhu Jonnalagadda's new romantic drama, which hit the screens on October 17, 2025, to a lot of mixed reviews. While a few loved the bold concept, there is a majority who have disliked the film directed by Neeraja Kona.

Well, Telusu Kada made just Rs 2 crore on day one worldwide, as per the tracking portal Sacnilk, and the same continued on day two as the romantic drama made Rs 2 crore again. The occupancy has been quite low, as the film did not even see 50% bookings in the Telugu states. This shows how badly the film has been panned.

Right from the beginning, the makers hid the concept and did not prepare the audience. All those who watched the film only came to know that Telusu Kada is about surrogacy, which is new to the Telugu audience. 

One of the biggest mistakes of the film is that the hero's character is not showcased properly. Whether he is playing a negative character, being good in his deeds, and what his approach is when his ex-girlfriend agrees to give birth to his baby through surrogacy has not been showcased properly.

Telusu Kada OTT platform details

Netflix has grabbed the digital rights to the film, and by the looks of it, Telusu Kada will be out on OTT within a month of its release. Siddhu Jonnalagadda's last film, Jack, was a big flop, and seeing the way Telusu Kada is performing, it will also end up as a big disappointment.
