Tere Ishk Mein Trailer OUT: Kriti Sanon and Dhanush's aggressive love has 'death but not freedom'

Tere Ishk Mein is one of the most-awaited romance-musical films of 2025. Starring Kriti Sanon and Dhanush, directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on November 28, 2025, in cinemas. Ahead of the release, the makers finally unveiled the trailer on November 14.

The 3-minute and 22-second trailer of Tere Ishk Mein opens with Dhanush introducing himself as Flight Lieutenant Shankar, while Kriti Sanon's character is sitting. When he introduces himself to his high authority, Kriti looks at him and the flashback starts. 

Kriti's character says, "Still aggressive and angry, you love this image of yours, right?" Dhanush and Kriti are featured in a toxic love story. The trailer shows Dhanush warning that if he starts loving her, he might burn up Delhi. On the other hand, Kriti cannot escape from his 'aggressive' love. They also share their gentle romantic moments, but gradually it turns into a toxic one. During the trailer, one voice can be heard saying, "This love has death but not freedom." At times, Dhanush's character can remind you of Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh. 

The visuals hint at a fascinating narrative and themes of love, loss, and redemption. The trailer is 'just the beginning' of a darker, more layered shade of the story of Tere Ishk Mein. Meanwhile, A. R. Rahman's recently released soundtrack adds more depth to the plot.

Talking about the Usey Kehna track, Rahman said in a statement that the song was inspired by when they travelled to Himachal and witnessed the reflection of the mountains in the Ganges. "Everything around inspired the creation of the melody, inspiring our teams Aanand L Rai, Irshad Kamil, Himanshu and it evolved into something which is just the bare minimum of just the piano, strings and a newfound voice of Nitesh. I hope people enjoy it and feel the same way we felt creating it," he said.
