Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya may have opened to mixed responses but there's a high chance of its sequel being made. The rumours of TBMAUJ'S sequel have been doing the rounds since the day it was released on the big screen. According to the latest media report, Janhvi Kapoor, who had a special appearance in the film, will have a crucial role to play in the second installment.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya 2 to explore a love triangle?

For the uninitiated, in the post-credit scene of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Janhvi Kapoor's character tries to charm Shahid Kapoor's character while Kriti Sanon as SIFRA feels jealous. What will happen in the sequel then? A source informed Mid-Day, "In the sequel, the story could explore the consequences of what the humanoid robot did. As she attempts a human relationship." 

The makers could also explore a love triangle between Shahid, Kriti, and Janhvi's characters. Furthermore, the source informed the tabloid that TBMAUJ will continue to explore the themes of love, identity, and the evolving relationships between humans and robots.

The tabloid further reported that as Shahid and Kriti's unconventional relationship unfolds, societal reactions and ethical dilemmas could come into play. The story of TBMAUJ could also delve deeper into the complexities of their bond.

Meanwhile, the total domestic collection of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is Rs 51.95 crore. The movie earned Rs 4.75 crore on day 9 and it is more as compared to the day 8 collection. 

On the other hand, Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah's directorial is inching closer to the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The global figures of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya are currently Rs 89.61 crore. TBMAUJ ended Valentine's Week with a collection of Rs 84.61 crore.
