Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya out on OTT - Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's sci-fi romantic comedy hits Prime Video, but there's a catch

Shahid Kapoor announced at the Prime Video Presents event earlier this week that Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya will soon be available on Prime Video, and now the day has finally arrived. Yes, the film, also starring Kriti Sanon as a robot, is finally streaming on the OTT platform, but not for all subscribers. Yes, the OTT giant has given early access by making it available to rent for Rs. 349. The film will be available for rent for 30 days, with a 48-hour grace period after starting to watch it.

A sci-fi romantic tale starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon

For the uninitiated, the sci-fi romantic film is about Aryan (Shahid), who has a hard time finding a compatible life partner. He falls in love with the ideal girl, Sifra (Kriti), while on an official assignment in the US, but he subsequently learns that their love story is unachievable.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya's performance and reception

Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi, in their directorial debuts, wrote and directed Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya for Maddock Films and Jio Studios, respectively. The film opened in theatres on February 9, 2024, to mostly positive reviews from fans and mixed reactions from critics. It surpassed and has become the sixth-grossing film of 2024 as of March.

Worldwide, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has earned Rs. 132.78 crore as of March 14, 2024, with Rs. 95.43 crore earned in India and Rs. 37.35 crore earned overseas.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya marked the first onscreen outing of Shahid and Kriti. Their chemistry was well appreciated by the masses, and the songs picturised on them also became chartbusters. Moreover, Kriti was lauded for her performance as a robot, especially in the climax sequence, which has gone viral on social media pages.

Along with these actors, the film also stars Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, and others in pivotal roles.
