Vels Film International is bankrolling the project which has AR Rahman scoring music. He had revealed a few months ago that plans are on for the sequel of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu which he made with Kamal Haasan in 2006.
According to him, the project will commence as soon as he gets a green signal from the Ulaganayagan, who is now busy with Indian 2.
