Thalapathy 67: Priya Anand on board to play a major role in Lokesh Kanagaraj's gangster drama starring Vijay

Fans of Vijay are elated with raining updates from the makers of Thalapathy 67. After officially announcing the project, they have started revealing the names of actors who are part of the film. Though some of the names they have mentioned aren't surprise news anymore, the excitement remains the same.

After Sanjay Dutt's inclusion, they have revealed officially that Priya Anand is on board to essay a crucial character in the project which is touted as a gangster drama. The actress has expressed elation at the same and fans are overjoyed with her being a part of the much-hyped movie.   

Priya was earlier supposed to play the female lead opposite Vijay in the blockbuster Thuppakki directed by AR Murugadoss in 2012. However, she was replaced by Kajal Aggarwal for reasons known to makers. She's happy that she finally has bagged the opportunity to share screen presence with the Varisu star.

Many movie buffs have been pointing out the same on social media and she replied to one of them with the tweet "Life has a way of beautifully working out (sic)." All eyes are now on Lokesh Kanagaraj as cinephiles are curious to know what character the filmmaker has offered her.

The actress was last seen in Tamil in Adithya Varma which was released in 2019. Andhagan, Sumo and Kasethan Kadavulada are her forthcoming movies. Though the first two among them are yet to come up with release dates, Kasethan Kadavulada has been slated for a release in a few days.

The team of Thalapathy 67 has also announced the inclusion of Sandy and Mysskin in its cast. Film lovers are looking forward to upcoming announcements.
