It is known that Thalapathy 67 (tentative title) is one of the most-awaited Kollywood projects in 2023. The film which brings together Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after Master has been trending on social media ever since the film was announced.

The movie was officially launched earlier this month in Chennai, though makers haven't revealed any pics from the event. The names of a few actors are doing the rounds with regard to playing pivotal roles in it, but nothing has been confirmed so far. However, Trisha essaying the female lead in it is more or less confirmed.

The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Vijay after a hiatus of fifteen years. Anirudh has been brought on board earlier to compose music for the movie. Social media is abuzz on Thalapathy 67 being part of 'Lokesh Cinematic Universe' ever since the filmmaker's previous outing Vikram opened up scope for incorporating characters from his earlier movies.

Though the director is yet to reveal anything on it, it looks like Suriya liking a tweet has added fuel to the speculation. A video in which Trisha was asked about her part in the film as liked by Suriya. 

In fact, the actor's character Rolex was one of the major positive aspects of Vikram, and movie buffs have been wondering if the role would be incorporated in Thalapathy 67. It looks like there are chances of that to happen, and film lovers are excited to the core. 

However, until and unless an official announcement is made from Lokesh's team, it is too early to come up with conclusions. There are rumours of Kamal Haasan, too, appearing in Thalapathy 67.
