Thalapathy Vijay's Leo might be yet to hit screens, but it looks like his next project, which is tentatively being referred to as Thalapathy 68, has become a hot cake in the market. The film marks the maiden collaboration between Vijay and Venkat Prabhu.

The latest we hear is that T- Series has bagged the rights and that the audio rights of the film has been bagged for a record price, which is said to be the highest in Tamil cinema. Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The last time Yuvan Shankar Raja had scored the music for a Vijay film was in Pudhiya Geethai (2003). Hence, there are a lot of expectations from the film's album.

In the meantime, we hear that the cinematographer of Captain Miller Siddhartha Nuni will be cranking the camera for the film. However, there is no official confirmation on the same. The team is yet to make an official announcement about the cast and crew.

Vijay has currently wrapped the portions of Leo helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh had recently announced on his social media handle that the shoot was wrapped. Thanking Vijay, Lokesh wrote, "And it's a wrap for our @actorvijay portion! Thank you for making the second outing yet again a special one na! #Leo (sic)."

Leo has a star-studded cast, which comprises Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sandy Master, Babu Antony, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas and Vasanthi.

Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. Lokesh Kanagaraj, Dheeraj Vaidy and Rathnakumar have penned the screenplay for the film. Action sequences are choreographed by Anbariv.

Leo is one of the most hyped projects in the Tamil film industry and the film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route.
