It looks like the trailer of Thalapathy Vijay's Leo was screened for the entire team yesterday on the sets of Venkat Prabhu's next, which is tentatively being referred ti as Thalapathy 68. The team had set up a giant screen to watch the trailer of Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film, which is gearing up to hit screens on October 19. The crew celebrated the Leo trailer day like a gala affair. Reacting to the trailer, Venkat Prabhu had written, "Vera level brother!! Absolute (sic)."

Leo trailer arrives in style
The trailer was released last evening at 6.30 pm in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. The Tamil trailer already clocked 26 million views and continues to go strong as far as the footfalls are concerned. Though the hype around the trailer skyrocketed towards the evening, the trailer opened to mixed reviews. The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and The Route.

Shoot for Thalapathy 68 in full swing
In the meantime, the director had also announced that all details and pictures about the film will be revealed after the release of Leo. Taking to his social media handle, Venkat Prabhu wrote, "And it began!! #Thalapathy68 with all ur love and wishes!!! This is gonna be a fun roller coaster ride!! And all pics and updates after namma #Leo release!! God is Kind (sic)."

A song in the making
We hear that the team is currently shooting for a song at Prasad Studio in Chennai. The portion includes Vijay, Prashanth, Pravhu Deva and Ajmal and is said to revolve around friendship. The star cast for Thalapathy 68 includes Priyanka Mohan, Laila, Mic Mohan, Meenakshi Chaudhry, Sneha and Jayaram to name a few.

Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who had last scored music for Vijay in Pudhiya Geethai (2003). The film is bankrolled by AGS Productions and will mark their 265th venture.
