Thalapathy Vijay to act in Super Good Films' 100th production venture; Jiiva likely to appear in a crucial role

Jiiva is all set to make his OTT debut with the game show Sarkaar With Jiiva which will drop on aha Tamil from September 16. The actor was spotted at a promotional event the other day in which he expressed excitement on his entry into the digital world.

During the press interaction, he was asked about the 100th movie of the production house Super Good Films which is owned by his father and veteran producer RB Choudary. Jiiva said that Vijay is likely to play the lead in the prestigious project though it is too early to talk about it.

He also revealed that Vijay is in talks with the production house and it is likely that Thalapathy will headline the company's 100th movie. Interestingly, Jiiva has also expressed interest to his father to act in the film. The last time Vijay and Super Good Films collaborated was in Jilla which was released in 2014.

The much-celebrated introduction song of the movie had Jiiva making a blink-and-miss appearance. Jiiva and Vijay had shared screen space in Shankar's Nanban which was released in 2012. Jiiva's revelation has sent fans of both the stars excited. They are now eager to know which director will be roped in to helm the project.

Jiiva currently has Varalaru Mukkiyam and Medhavi in his kitty. The actor's last outing was Bollywood film 83 which won him a lot of appreciation for his performance. Kalathil Sandhippom, which was produced by Super Good Films, was his only Tamil film to release post the pandemic era.

Sarkaar With Jiiva is expected to bring back the actor's humour side which he hasn't explored for a long time. The show which will be available for 13 weeks on aha Tamil will have four new participants every week.
