The US distributors of the movie, Prathyangira Cinemas and AA Creations, have kick-started ground promotions for the movie in America. The posters from Leo took the biggest billboard at the iconic Times Square in New York, adding to the excitement around the movie.
The distributors have confirmed that the advance booking for Leo in the USA will begin on September 27.

Fans of Vijay can watch Leo in the USA a few hours before their compatriots in India. It has been confirmed that the Leo premiere in the USA will take place at 6:30 PM on October 18, which is 4 AM on October 19 in India.
When will Leo's first show begin in Tamil Nadu?
Despite the unprecedented craze for Leo, the movie is unlikely to have early-morning fan shows across Tamil Nadu. The state government earlier this year imposed a ban on the special fan and extra shows following the tragic accident that killed a young fan of Ajith Kumar.
The stakeholders in Tamil Nadu will have to seek special permission to add extra shows for a movie. And in any case, the first show of the movie is unlikely to start before 9 AM on October 19.
