Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi-starrer upcoming action drama’s shooting has been going on in full swing. In the latest update, the makers of the film have announced that they have wrapped up the schedule at a beautiful coastal village. While sharing the update, the makers also shared some of the behind the scenes photos from the sets, featuring the lead cast and crew – Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi along with director Chandoo Mondeti.
One of the BTS shots features Naga Chaitanya rehearsing the script for a scene, donning a casual shirt with a tank top. The actor is also seen sporting an unkempt-spray-tan look, flexing his bulked up avatar. In another BTS shot, actress Sai Pallavi is seen wearing a beautiful green and yellow salwar kameez, in her naturally flushed look. From these behind the scene shots, it is clear that the upcoming action drama is all set to exude beautiful aesthetics, while narrating an intriguing story of a man who accidentally gets caught by Pakistan forces in International waters.
Going by the first glimpse, the film promises to take us through an adventurous story against the backdrop of Srikakulam’s coastal line, along with narrating the story of the people who reside by the seashore. The movie is set to be a complete actioner and will also take us through Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s romance unfolding in the coastal setting. Chaitanya plays the titular character of Thandel, while Sai Pallavi will be playing his love interest who will be bringing the actual twist in the story. According to reports, the actress will be speaking in Srikakulam dialect and is going to be a rebellious yet idealistic character. The reports also suggest that her character's name is Satya, and both Thandel and Satya's chemistry will bring in a lot of drama to the story.
National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring the music for this action drama which is being bankrolled by Bunny Vas. As per reports, the action drama is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 55 crore.
