The Archies: When Arijit Singh pauses crooning In Raahon Mein

Arijit Singh is undoubtedly one of the finest singers of this generation. Known to be a down-to-earth person in his personal life, the singer lives a quiet life at Jiaganj in West Bengal. He made music his life. Music brought him fame. According to him, singing means serving Goddess Saraswati. But if that prayer time gets disrupted?

Recently a video went viral on social media. It shows Arijit starting his song at a concert, but he is stopped by the audience that suddenly shouts out loud. Arijit was taken aback at such behaviour. He stopped singing and stood silently. It happened at a music concert in the Middle East. Arijit sang a song, In Raahon Mein, from Zoya Akhtar’s much-awaited upcoming film The Archies. His fans were elated listening to the song. Penned by Javed Akhtar, the song is composed by Shankar Ehsan and Loy.

Arijit is known to be a humble person. In Jiaganj, he maintains a simple lifestyle. He is seen riding a scooter or giving puja to the local Kali temple. He stays away from a celeb-style life. Recently, rapper Badshah was spotted at his house and two of them took a scooty trip around Jiaganj.
