The world of streaming was graced and touched by Shah Rukh Khan this week when he took the stage at the Next On Netflix event not just to announce son Aryan Khan's directorial debut but also to confirm its title. The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, earlier rumored to be titled Stardom, is now one of the most anticipated shows of the year for many reasons. However, one thing that has left fans curious is when the show will hit the streaming platform. A new report suggests that we might have figured out the release date on Netflix, and it has an IPL connection. Read on to know everything you should about the same.
The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Release Window Out?**
According to a Pinkvilla report, the makers of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood have figured out when they want to release the show. Netflix and Red Chillies have decided to release the show post-IPL. You heard that right—the idea is to shift the audience’s attention back to Bollywood from cricket with a massive show due. “It’s a well-thought-out strategy, and the show will be promoted throughout the IPL league. While the show rides on a strong ensemble, the two principal characters, a star and an upcoming actor, are played by Bobby Deol and Lakshya,” revealed a source close to the development.
The source also mentioned the numerous cameos, including the three Khans—Aamir, Salman, and Shah Rukh. “The three Khans—Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir—play special parts in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, and their cameos will be the talk of the town upon release. Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt are also part of the show, playing themselves, with the idea of using all the stars in meta-references to reality. Two-star directors—SS Rajamouli and Karan Johar—will also be featured in key roles,” the source added.
