It seems like when Batman is not saving his home city, Gotham, he is busy designing his dream sofas and putting them up for limited sales. No, we haven’t gone out of our minds; it is Robert Pattinson who has suddenly left all of us surprised by his latest artistic creation and a very fascinating revelation. Robert has now revealed that he has only had one piece of furniture for six months, and it is an inflatable boat.

What Is The Buzz About?

If you are confused about what is precisely happening, Robert and Nicole Gordon took up the job of designing his dream sofa. The two hustled hard and came up with a design that is nine feet long, 50 inches deep and resembles an ear that Pattinson felt was the perfect piece of furniture, as he is a romantic man when it comes to choosing home decor, and he wants the couch to embrace you back.

But while he was busy talking about his new design, Robert Pattinson was asked what the worst sofa he had ever used was. The actor was quick to take us back in time when he had an inflated boat, and that was the only piece of furniture he owned for six long months. It doubled up as his couch, bed, and dining table.

Robert Makes The Revelation

As per Architectural Digest, Robert Pattinson said, “My least favourite could also be my most favourite. There was a time when the only piece of furniture I had for about six months was an inflatable boat that would double as my couch, bed, and dining table. I loved it very much, but it caused a lot of back problems.”

However, while talking about the design of the new sofa, Robert said, “I started sketching pieces of furniture I thought would make people interact in a playful and informal way,” he tells AD. “They all had disproportionate, oversized elements that were quite fun. And in the process of making some models out of clay, I found that organic overlapping curves had a similar effect.”

Here's Where You Can See It And Probably Even Buy One If You Are Lucky

Once the sofa was completed, Nicole Gordon motivated Robert Pattinson to sell them in a minimal series. For this, she referred it to Joel Chan, who is the owner of JF Chen. So, the sofa is now on display at JF Chen in Los Angeles and will be sold on order to only six people. On the work front, Robert is busy working on The Batman 2 which is due on October 3, 2025.
