Matt Reeves’ The Batman with Robert Pattinson dawning the cape is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. There is now exciting news for the Indian fans regarding the release of the movie.
As confirmed by Warner Brothers, the movie is set to release in theatres across the country in four languages. The movie will release on March 4 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Warner Bros India took to social media to reveal the news. In a post on Twitter, they wrote, “Vengeance will descend on Gotham. #TheBatman, only in cinemas on March 4. In English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”
The post was accompanied by a poster for The Batman in the four languages. The poster features Robert as The Dark Knight and Bruce Wayne as well as other important characters from the movie.
The PG-13 rated movie is helmed by Matt Reeves. It is co-written by him and Peter Craig. The movie is expected to have a darker version of Bruce Wayne and will follow the orphan in his first year as The Caped Crusader.
Matt, earlier in an interview with Empire, said that this version of Bruce Wayne is inspired by the rock and roll icon and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and that he made the connection to Last Days, Gus Van Sant’s fictionalized drama based on the singer's life, and an idea of this version of Kurt in a decaying manner.
The Batman features Robert Pattinson portray the role of Bruce Wayne, more popularly known as Batman. Other cast members of the film include Paul Dano as the Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as Penguin and Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon.
