Michael Ajay was one of the most outspoken contestants on Bigg Boss Kannada 10, fearless and ready to call a spade a spade. Eliminated from the house last week, Michael has been catching up with near-and-dear-ones, speaking to the media and, figuring out how the reality show is being perceived by audiences. It’s been a reality check of sorts for Michael, who realised that emotions and sympathy elements had more impact on audiences than working hard and winning the tasks set by Bigg Boss in the house.

During his stint, it was no secret that Michael and Sangeetha Sringeri were not the most-friendly with each other, a feeling of negativity that was mutual. This is something that Michael admits, but also adds that the title of contestant with double standards in the house will go to Sangeetha. Speaking to Filmy First, Michael said that Sangeetha was the most unpredictable in the house. She’d be all friendly and nice with someone for a few days and then proceed to give them the cold shoulder for no apparent reason as well. On that note, Michael also noted that he had called out Sangeetha’s ‘friendship’ with Karthik Mahesh as fake, which turned out to be true, what with the contestants not on talking terms now.

In the few weeks before his elimination, Michael seemed to have changed his game plan drastically. From being one of the most objective contestants on the show, he went on to be one of the most rebellious participants. This change, he says, was triggered when he saw that contestants were nominating each other for elimination for no particular reason, but personal animosity. “Initially, I did not speak much because there was a language barrier; I’d think in English, translate it to Kannada in my head and by the time I was ready, the moment would be lost. But over time, I got more confident to speak in Kannada and spoke the truth. I may have been harsh, but I only spoke about what was happening in the house,” he said.
