While the viewers are still enjoying The Broken News season 2, there are a few who have watched the series overnight and cannot stop praising Jaideep Ahlawat and Sonali Bendre’s performance on the show. A user, especially, could not stop talking about Jaideep, who plays the role of the antagonist Dipakar Sanyal on the show.

The user’s comment for Jaideep

In Hindi, the user asked Jaideep where was he hiding his talent and the content of the show. This user could not stop praising the actor for his performance in the series.

Sonali Bendre fans excited

The Broken News marked Sonali Bendre’s comeback to acting as well as her debut on OTT. Thus, the series is special not only to her but also her fans. It is thus no surprise that they wish to watch the show for her alone.

Media and celeb reviews

Sonali Kulkarni and Supriya Pilgaonkar expressed love for the series at the screening held last night. While Sonali just wanted to binge-watch the show ever since season 1 release, Supriya sang praises for her daughter Shriya’s performance in the series, as Radha Bhargava. “Radha Bhargava sach mein kisi se nahi darti,” she said at the screening.

Media had similar opinions and all reviews talk about how the latest season is even better than the first to some extent. “Jaideep Ahlawat is terrific as Dipankar Sanyal. He is fiercer than ever in the second season. Sanyal’s pride, commitment, and occasional vulnerability are readily captured by the actor. Shriya, too, is outstanding. However, it is Sonali Bendre who steals the hearts (as Ameena Qureshi),” OTTplay reviews. Not just acting, everyone could not stop praising the show for what it is and how it handles the topic it suggests to. To call it gutsy is saying the least.

The Broken News season 2 is now out on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium.
