Contrary to speculations that Nagarjuna-starrer The Ghost will have a direct-to-OTT release, makers had announced recently that the movie directed by Praveen Sattaru will release in theatres on October 5. The action flick has been bankrolled by Narayan Das Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Sharrath Marar under Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas and Northstar Entertainment.

The team has unveiled two promo videos so far from the film which has Nagarjuna essaying the role of an Interpol officer. Sonal Chauhan, Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran will be seen essaying key roles in the movie. The action-packed second promo of The Ghost also had a surprise announcement for fans.

The release date of the film's trailer was also attached to the video; the much-awaited trailer will be unveiled on August 25. Praveen Sattaru has now released a new poster of the movie reaffirming the trailer release date. It features both Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan wielding guns and standing inside a huge building amid attacks from gangsters.

The killer looks of Nagarjuna is sure to send his fans into a tizzy. All the posters of the film till date have been garnering huge response from the actor's fans. They are now looking forward to the trailer which is likely to be the icing on the cake.  

Mark K Robin has composed the background score for the project which has songs set to tunes by Bharath and Saurab. Mukesh G has cranked the camera for The Ghost which has Brahma Kadali at the helm of art direction.

Dinesh Subbarayan and Kaecha have jointly choreographed action sequences for the film which will be Nagarjuna's second outing this year after Bangarraju. The Ghost is director Praveen's seventh directorial project.
