There must be hardly anyone who must not have seen the superhit film PK, the very film of Aamir Khan which went onto not just make unprecedented records, but also break most of the previous ones. Even though the film was released around ten years back (19 December 2014) to be precise, almost all the film’s characters and scenes resonate even today.
Kapil Sharma does the honours!
One of the most memorable scenes in the film was that of the radio, which Aamir Khan was holding in his hand. Even though many pieces had been written about it, Aamir Khan never spoke anything about the scene. This time round, it is none other than the comedy king Kapil Sharma who is doing the honours of asking Aamir Khan about the radio scene.
And... Kapil Sharma asks the eternal question to Aamir Khan!
This happened in the upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the promo of which has just got released. Even though Kapil Sharma did not ask Aamir Khan very directly, he did drive home the point in the typical Kapil trademarked style!
Kapil Sharma starts off asking Aamir Khan (in Hindi), “Aamir bhai, God forbid, the radio which you were holding, had its frequency fluctuating…. Did you not get scared that the entire broadcast would have just taken place then and there itself!” Hearing this, both Aamir Khan and Archana Puran Singh burst into peals of laughter!
As a reply to this question, Aamir Khan goes on to reply, “Jab tak main chal raha tha, tab tak toh theek tha… lekin jab mujhe bhagna pada tab…” No sooner than he said this, everyone burst into laughter!
As for The Great Indian Kapil Show, besides Aamir Khan, the show has witnessed (so far) the likes of cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, actors like Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Kaushal and others. New episode of the show gets dropped every week on Saturday at 8pm on Netflix.
