The Great Pre Wedding Show is Telugu cinema's new-age comedy that has ended as a smash hit at the box office. Not many knew that a film like this had come out in the first place. But with each passing show, the word of mouth has grown, and more screens are being added.
Featuring OTT specialist Thiruveer of Sin fame, the film is a comedy caper based on pre-wedding shoots. The film is set in a small village and is about a photographer who can a pre-wedding shoot of a local politician, only to know that the memory card he used has gone missing.
Now that the film is a hit, Thiruveer says that they had no money in hand to promote their film. "I clearly remember my director Rahul requesting so many influencers to promote the film but to not much luck. I always knew that good cinema finds its audience but never thought that my film would get such an applause," he said.
Thiruveer had pinned so much hope on The Great Pre Wedding Show that he had to let go of some big films like Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2. He was so committed to the film, says Thiruveer.

Made on a shoestring budget, Zee5 has already bagged the digital rights to the film, landing the makers in a safe zone already. Whatever the film is making in theaters is profit for the makers.
On the other hand, director Rahul Srinivas has become the man to watch out for, as he has been roped in by a popular banner for his next. The Great Pre Wedding Show was in the news ever since its funky trailer came out.
Though it released amidst other big films like The Girlfriend and Jatadhara, The Pre Wedding Show made its mark and is slowly getting more screens. In the days to come, we need to see how the film fares.
