In a very unfortunate turn of events, Hollywood has lost a visionary producer. Kevin Turen, popularly known for his work on famous television shows like Euphoria and The Idol, has passed away at the age of 44. The cause of his death has not been revealed yet, but his father, Edward Turen has confirmed the news in a statement that is now surfacing on the internet. 

About Kevin Turen

Born in 1979 in New York City, Kevin started his career in 2005. Known for being a successful film and television producer, Turen went on to back some of the most popular projects in Hollywood. Apart from the Zendaya and Lily-Rose Depp starrer, he is also known for producing X film series, Those Who Wish Me Dead, Arbitrage, Pieces Of A Woman, and The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent. 

Statements From Family And Friends

Kevin Turen passed away. His father, Edward Turen, confirmed the same in the statement and said, “Kevin was so incredibly special, this world is going to be less without him.” His close friend and CEO of PMC, Jay Penske in another statement wrote, “Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends,” it began.

“He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make a difference in the broader world,” added Jay, while adding that Kevin Turen’s family and friends feel a profound sense of loss and the tinsel town has lost of its brightest rising stars today. 

Kevin Turen is survived by his wife Evelina and their children. The renowned producer married Evelina 11 years ago and the two had a rock-solid relationship. On the work front, he worked closely with Sam Levinson as they created two of the most buzz-making shows of recent years. While The Idol’s future has been axed and is not moving for a second season, Euphoria's next season is in development.
