The much-awaited trailer of Tha Se Gnanavel's Suriya-starrer Jai Bhim will be released on October 22

The makers of Suriya's Jai Bhim had unveiled its teaser and first single recently, which were lapped up by the movie buffs and fans of the star. Directed by Tha Se Gnanavel, it was announced earlier that the film, which is billed as a court room drama, will drop on Amazon Prime Video on November 2. 

The latest update on the project is that the movie's trailer will be out on October 22. The Twitter handle of the project's production house 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd owned by Suriya and Jyotika informed the same to film lovers with the tweet, "We cannot wait for justice to overpower injustice! Trailer out on Oct 22. Watch #JaiBhimOnPrime, Nov 2. @PrimeVideoIN."

The movie's single, Power Song, composed and sung by Sean Roldan and Arivu respectively, received appreciation for its catchy lyrics, peppy music and powerful voice. The teaser, which had some thought-provoking dialogues and realistic portrayal of the society, also was lauded by cinephiles. 

The story of the film is set in the 90s and Suriya's character in it is said to be inspired from a real life lawyer. The actor plays a lawyer for the first time in his career. Prakash Raj, Rajisha Vijayan and Lijomol Jose among others will be seen essaying crucial roles in the project which is riding on high expectations.  

SR Kathir has cranked the camera for the movie which has editing by Philomin Raj. This is the third project among the four films which are part of the deal which 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd signed with Amazon Prime Video. Arisil Morthy's Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum released on September and Era Saravanan's Udanpirappe premiered a week ago. The fourth movie, Oh My Dog, will drop on the leading platform in December.
