The Paradise gets new release date: Nani-Kayadu Lohar film too skips March; to hit theatres in August 2026

Telugu star Nani, who has been enjoying a successful streak lately, had promised an action-packed entertainer with his new film The Paradise, which was set to release on March 27, 2026. But the star has revealed that The Paradise has been postponed and the Srikanth Odela directorial will now release on August 21, 2026. It needs to be pointed out that several films have backtracked from releasing in March, which will see the clash between two much-anticipated films - Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic.

When is Nani’s The Paradise releasing

The Paradise is an upcoming Telugu film, which stars Nani in the lead, who joined forces with Sreekanth Odela two years after their successful collaboration on Dasara. The film was set to release in March. But Nani took to social media on February 12 to confirm that his film would now hit theatres on August 21. The Natural Star also shared a new poster, which showed blood dripping from two long braids of hair.

There have been speculations on whether The Paradise would be able to keep its March release. Earlier in January, OTTplay had reported that significant portions of the film were left to be shot and it would take at least two months to complete filming.

Though shoot completion is likely the reason why the movie is getting postponed by nearly 5 months, this leaves more space for Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic that will clash at the box office on March 19, 2026. Another Telugu film Peddi, starring Ram Charan, had also skipped March. Peddi is now set to hit theatres on April 30. Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur's Dacoit had also postponed its March release.

The Hindi film Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, will continue with the spy saga of the 2025 blockbuster film. Toxic, on the other hand, stars Yash in the lead role and is directed by Geetu Mohandas.

The Paradise features Nani in the role of Jadal, while popular actress Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead. Mohan Babu, Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal, Babu Mohan, and Sampoornesh Babu are also part of The Paradise.

On the other hand, The Paradise OTT deal has already been locked. The film will stream on Netflix after its theatrical run.
