The Rana Daggubati Show on Amazon Prime began on a dull note, with the first episode being heavily trolled by many. However, things took a turn from the second episode onwards when Sreeleela and Siddhu Jonnalagadda graced the show. Since then, there has been no looking back for Rana and his talk show.
This week, none other than Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary, the lead pair of the superhit film Lucky Baskhar, will appear on the show. Not many know that Rana and Dulquer have been childhood friends and share a long history. In one of the promos, Dulquer recalls his first meeting with Rana when he was in ninth grade in Chennai. Rana humorously adds that, as he had failed twice, he ended up meeting Dulquer in ninth grade.
The episode also highlights a different side of Meenakshi Chaudhary, who shares her journey from being a professional dentist to entering the film industry. Currently, Meenakshi is one of the busiest stars in Telugu cinema, signing back-to-back projects.
The Rana Daggubati Show is filmed at Rana's own Ramanaidu Studios and has been produced on a lavish scale. The previous episode featured Kannada star Rishab Shetty and actress Neha Shetty and turned out to be a good watch. However, Dulquer Salmaan's episode is expected to draw even more viewers, as he enjoys massive popularity in the Telugu states. His performance in Lucky Baskhar has won the hearts of many.
Interestingly, Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan are also collaborating on a Telugu-Tamil bilingual project. The unique aspect of this film is that both stars are acting in and co-producing it. Their interaction on the talk show will undoubtedly be a treat for fans. This special episode will stream on December 28, 2024.
Moreover, news suggests that several more popular stars from Telugu cinema will appear on the show in the coming weeks. Seeing the success of The Rana Daggubati Show, the makers are reportedly planning a second season, slated for 2025.
For now, Rana has done an excellent job hosting the show and showcasing his versatility. One standout episode featured his family members, including his first cousin Naga Chaitanya, and Venkatesh's daughter, Ashrita, which marked a turning point, drawing more viewers to stream the show on Amazon Prime Video.
