Nayanthara is currently going through an excellent phase in both her acting career and personal life. The South Indian superstar has been striking an excellent balance between star-driven big-budget movies and meaningful cinema for quite some time now. On the special occasion of her 39th birthday today (November 18), the makers of her upcoming project, The Test, treated Nayanthara's fans to her look from the film.
Nayanthara sports new look in The Test character poster
Nayanthara is seen in a brand new avatar in The Test character poster, which is taking social media by storm. The lady superstar looks gorgeous (as she always does) in a black and brown cotton saree and a printed black blouse. Nayanthara sports a sleek ponytail, her signature kohled eyes, oxidized silver ornaments, and a handbag.
However, the actress's look from the movie has uncanny similarities with her get-ups in several previous movies. Even though the lady superstar looks stunning in the character poster, her looks in most of her recent outings are clearly repetitive, to the extent that it is getting monotonous. It would be nice to see Nayanthara getting experimental with her looks in her future projects.
From the character poster, it is evident that Nayanthara is set to play a performance-oriented role in the eagerly-awaited movie. However, nothing much has been revealed about her character in the film that is helmed by S Shashikanth.
R Madhavan pens a heartfelt birthday wish for his The Test co-star, Nayanthara
Meanwhile, Nayanthara's The Test co-star, R Madhavan, wished her with a special note. “Wishing you a very, very happy birthday, and a fantastic year ahead, both for your sake and mine. My dear @nayanthara so very happy and elated to have you in our lives,” wrote R Madhavan as he shared Nayanthara’s character poster on his social media handles.
Nayanthara reposted Madhavan’s Instagram story on her official handle, with a special message that read: “Dear @actormaddy sir You are the sweetest, Thank you so much… I really hope and pray that all of us have a great year.”
About The Test
Along with R Madhavan and Nayanthara, The Test also stars Siddharth in a lead role. Meera Jasmine and Kaali Venkat play pivotal roles in the film, which is expected to hit theatres in the first quarter of 2024.
