Last week, when Karan Johar's The Traitors released episodes 4, 5, and 6, it felt a bit off because we knew in a few days, the show would end. But Prime Video delighted The Traitors fans with the announcement of season 2. In one word, the survival game show, The Traitors India, deserved a second season. The show has been going so well that it has become an addiction, and for real, you cannot just skip a second of any episode, and such episodes were 7, 8, and 9, which premiered on June 26. A lot of unexpected eliminations took place along with some mind-blowing puzzle games, a traitor recruitment, drama, arguments, and betrayals that made KJo's The Traitors India worth watching.

The Traitors Episodes 7 - 9

The Traitors India episodes 7, 8, and 9 were the most interesting out of the other episodes. With each step, the mind game gets explored with new details about each contestant inside the palace. While watching the show, it legit feels like 'thank god, an Indian adaptation of The Traitors has been made' because what a mind-blowing game show it is. Even though each episode is 60-70 minutes, you want more of it, and of course, Karan Johar and his acting while talking to the contestants, breaking the photo frames of the eliminators, and at the Circle of Shaq, will make you smile and laugh from ear to ear. He is just a genius, and no one could ever host the show better than KJo.

Coming to episodes 7, 8, and 9, we saw a lot of drama again, but this time, it was full of thrills and shocking elements. Well, Janvi Gaur was eliminated right at the beginning of the 7th episode, and everyone seemed relieved because nobody gave attention to Janvi ever, but all of them wanted her to be eliminated soon, so the Traitors, Elnaaz Norouzi and Purav Jha, 'murdered' her and finished the job on behalf of everyone.

Puzzle games, secret mission, and shocking eliminations

Now comes the next part, where we saw an unexpected elimination. This elimination not only delighted the contestants but also gave everyone a shock, and it was so unexpected that everyone kept saying, 'unbelievable.' Can you guess? Yes, its Elnaaz Norouzi. Not a single Innocent doubted her for a moment that she could be a traitor. After the elimination, contestants praised Elnaaz for her amazing gameplay.

After the elimination, traitor Purav Jha was asked to complete a secret mission where he had to murder an Innocent by not hiding in the shadows but in plain sight. For this, he needed to complete it in two stages: first of all, find the book in the billiards room that has the stamp of Traitors, the book has a bottle of poison inside, and pour the poison in the courtyard's fountain and then from the pictures on the dinner table, pick one player's picture and throw it in the fountain, whom he wanted to murder. This task sounded very tough as everyone was having a party in the courtyard, but in the end, Purav completed the task without anyone getting noticed, and thus, one more innocent died.

But this was not the end. The Innocent, chosen by Purav, still had a long run to go as there was one more game to play. Towards the end of the game, the innocent would get eliminated. Before that, one more traitor was recruited by Purav, and that was Harsh which was quite predictable.

After that, the next day, that mind-blowing game appeared. Everyone wore a white dress as it was the theme of the game, and one Innocent was going nearer to his or her death/elimination. They had to pick a pot with their names and walk a circle around a wall, and in the process, three contestants, Apoorva, Uorfi, and Harsh, went into danger. After one more game where players had to cross a sea of women wearing red sarees, Apoorva, Uorfi, and Sufi came close to death or elimination.

The whole game was so interesting, and when one Innocent was eliminated from Sufi, Apoorva, and Uorfi, everyone cried. The contestant was none other than Sufi. Quickly go and watch The Traitors, streaming on Prime Video, to find out how he was eliminated. Meanwhile, Jannat Zubair was murdered also. In total, 5 contestants were eliminated, and they were Janvi, Elnaaz, Jannat, Anshula, and Sufi. At the end, Harsh seemed to be in danger as he certainly got a lot of votes at the Circle of Shaq.

Meanwhile, in the episodes, contestants again argued about whom to vote in the Circle of Shaq inside the Palace. There was an argument between Urofi and Harsh, too. Urofi was seen shedding some tears because she was hurt by Harsh's statement. Overall, episodes 7, 8, and 9 were entertaining, full of shocking events and obviously betrayals as it followed one motto: 'Trust is rare but dhoka (betrayal) everywhere."

Meanwhile, The Traitors' final episode, aka episode 10, will air on July 3 at 8 p.m. on Prime Video!
