On a secluded island, Meera and her mother lead a peaceful life, collecting coconuts and other needs to sell for a living. They devote themselves to the 'nagadevas' or serpent gods, to whom their family has long offered prayers and pujas. Soon later, Meera gets a rare skin ailment that necessitates her going to a hospital for costly treatment. This exposes the mother and daughter to social media criticism, where reality is subordinated. However, her mother believes that her illness is due to the serpent deity's curse. Will science play a role in her recovery, or will her faith and supernatural intervention help?
