Lyca Productions announced sometime ago that they are making a film titled Theera Kaadhal. Rohin Venkatesan is at the helm of the movie which has Jai, Aishwarya Rajesh and Sshivada playing lead roles in it. Billed as an emotional romantic drama, it revolves around a man who is in love with two women.

He leads a happy life with his wife and a daughter. The unexpected entry of his ex-lover turns his life topsy-turvy. Torn between his loveable family and former girlfriend, he decides something which leaves many surprised. What is he up to?

GR Surendarnath has penned dialogues for the project and has written the screenplay along with director Rohin. Ravivarman Neelamegam has cranked the camera for Theera Kaadhal which has editing by Prasanna GK and music by Siddhu Kumar. Ramu Thangaraj has helmed art direction while Don Ashok has choreographed stunt scenes.

The movie touches upon the friendship between two ex lovers and introspects if they could be friends in the future. How their equation affects their respective families forms the rest of the story. The makers have unveiled its trailer now and have also announced its release date.

Theera Kaadhal will hit screens on May 26. Netflix has acquired its post theatrical digital rights. The movie will be Aishwarya's fifth outing this year after Run Baby Run, The Great Indian Kitchen, Soppana Sundari and Farhana. Jai was last seen in Coffee With Kadhal which was released last year. He has almost half-a-dozen films awaiting release.

Sshivada, on the other hand, was seen in a notable role in the recently released Mollywood movie 2018 which has been garnering phenomenal response among moviegoers.
