The first look of Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga, starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Arjun in lead roles, was unveiled a few months ago. Dinesh Lakshmanan has directed the movie which has been touted as an investigative thriller. The makers have now released the film's second look, featuring Arjun, as his birthday falls today.

Venkat Prabhu, who directed the 'Action King' in Mankatha, revealed the second look which has an inquisitive Arjun seen in a stylish look. Saravanan Abhimanyu has cranked the camera for the film which has music composed by Bharath Aaseevagan.

Lawrence Kishore and Arunshankar Durai have handled editing and art direction respectively for the movie. Rajasekar and Vicky have choreographed action scenes while Navaneethan Sundarrajan have penned dialogues for Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga. G Arul Kumar has bankrolled the movie under the banner of GS Arts.

Aishwarya plays a teacher in the film and Arjun essays the role of an investigative officer who takes up a sensational case revolving around an incident that happens in a school. This is the first project that brings together the two actors. The film also touches upon the topic of autism among students.

The movie was initially planned as a theatrical release in March. However, the makers had to postpone their plans after the third wave of the pandemic hit the country in January. They are yet to announce the new release date, though there are reports that the film will make it to the screens later this year.

Aishwarya, who was last seen in Suzhal, has The Great Indian Kitchen and Driver Jamuna in her kitty now, apart from the long-delayed Dhruva Natchathiram. On the other hand, Arjun's last outing was Friendship. The veteran actor has Jiiva-starrer Medhavi in his kitty.
