A documentary on Vinay Forrt’s latest Malayalam film, Aattam, is now available on YouTube. Ananthakrishnan Gopinathan has directed this documentary, titled Thespians of Aattam.
The one-hour film demonstrates how a cast of theatre professionals joined this social drama. With the exception of Vinay Forrt, Zarin Shihab, and Kalabhavan Shajohn, none of them have any film industry experience. They are, nevertheless, gifted theatre performers who make their living in other occupations.
This documentary tells the inspirational story of their lives and how time ultimately prepared them for their big-screen debut with the aid of the theatre group Lokadharmi. This group is well-known for performing the popular play Karnabhaaram on stages all over the nation.
The actors have also openly talked about how Aattam has significantly changed their lives and enabled them to rediscover the artistes within themselves.
