THIS IS WHAT Aamir Khan told about PM Narendra Modi's ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Besides the other modes of communications, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a very unique and a personalized way of reaching out to the common man. You guesed it right! We are indeed referring to his unique radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’. And with the much-loved show touching the milestone of 100 episodes, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has planned a host of events to celebrate the same. The celebrations have already started with a National Conclave on “Mann Ki Baat@100”, which is being organized by ‘Prasar Bharati’ in Delhi today (April 26). There have been various sessions which have been arranged throughout the day, which will see many dignitaries as speakers at the grand occasion.

One such dignitary is Aamir Khan who has been invited to participate in the mega event. Speaking to PTI about the event. Aamir Khan said, "It's a very important piece of communication that the leader of the country does with the people, discussing important issues, putting forward thoughts, giving suggestions, leading. That is how you lead by communication. You tell your people what you're looking at, how you're seeing the future, how you want your support in that. (It's an) important communication that happens in ‘Mann Ki Baat”. When the Laal Singh Chaddha actor was asked if Modi only talks about what he wishes to talk about, he said, "I think it's his prerogative because he's doing it. It is his method of hearing what the people have to say connecting with people across the country. I think it's a very important initiative."

Besides Aamir Khan, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon too has been invited to be a panelist in the session that has been titled, ‘Nari Shakti’. This session will be moderated by renowned anchor Richa Anirudh. As for Aamir Khan, he will be speaking in the session which has been titled 'Ahwan Se Jan Andolan'. Besides Aamir Khan, there will be other speakers who will be talking upon the topic of impact of campaigns like ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ amongst the common man.
