If you are looking to watch a heartwarming family drama with plenty of comedy, Tholvi FC will fit the bill. Starring Sharafudheen in the lead, Tholvi FC made its debut on Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday.

Based on the trailer, Tholvi FC seems like a feel-good comedy-drama, making it a perfect choice for family movie night. Director-actor George Kora has written and helmed Tholvi FC. The family movies come up right in George's ally. He was associated with popular feel-good movies in the past, including Janaki Jaane, Thirike and Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela.

Tholvi FC revolves around the struggles of a family, which doesn't seem to catch a break. The Kurivila family seems to have been going through a rough patch for a long time now, as none of its members have ever seemed to get anything right in all their endeavours. From relationships to career goals to pursuing one's passion, the members of the Kurivila family repeatedly face failure.

Take Sharafudheen's Oommen, for example. He seems to be a very gentle soul with nothing but good intentions in his heart. He seems to be struggling to raise enough funds to fulfil his intrarenal dream of developing a chain of tea cafes. His brother Thambi, George Kora, is also having a hard time coaching a bunch of unathletic kids in football. On the other hand, their parents' marriage seems to be falling apart, as they can't seem to be in the same room for more than a few seconds. Even though the Kurivila family is dysfunctional, there seems to be a strong undercurrent of love and mutual care that is helping them navigate the choppy waters of life.

Tholvi FC also stars Johny Antony, Asha Madathil Sreekanth and Meenakshi Raveendran.
